FSBO’s meaning is literal: “For sale by owner” – the owner is choosing to market their property for sale independently and directly, and without hiring a real estate agent. The owner is directly engaged with the market, not through a third party.

In our experience, anywhere between 25% and 40% of homes get sold directly by their owners. And usually to someone they know directly. More often than not, to someone who had frequestend the property, a friend who liked the property when it was being constructed. Very often, in the case of vacant land, it is the neighbour next door who knows you directly (the owner) or a friend or colleague of theirs, who will be your most assured prospect when you go to market to sell.

Property Listing
  • Our objective is to help you sell your property as fast and cost-effectively as possible, securing prospective buyers for your offer by maximizing your visibility in the market, strategically positioning your offer and ensuring a crisp and robust presentation.
  • We shall create a basic selling kit, including copywriting for your offer for listing on our website, across free and paid property sales marketplaces, social media channels, and commercial advertising bulletin boards.
Pre-Listing Requirements
It’s always good practice to prepare the following before listing a property:

  • Relevant property documents. This should include relevant ownership documents (relevant documents of the owner, title to the property), records of property taxes (ground rent and rates)
  • A good portfolio of photos of the property. This is particularly true for furnished rental properties.
  • Short descriptions of the property (as regards size, facilities, access to mains utilities, property tenure and so on).

For property sales, if you have past or current valuation reports, it would be important to avail these as well.

Property Agency
  • FSBO with us means that all listing queries will be directed to the property seller.
  • Should you require any assistance with the functions that a property agent can assist with, for example showings with prospective buyers, staging the property, you can request these on demand from us.
